A comfort pill from God's Word

Think for a minute. Whoever said that the word of God does not have medicianl effect. Take a look at this verse for instance "....hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love" (colossians 2:2). Not only is there comfort on a human level when hearts are knit together in love, but there is also comfort for the weary soul when a person's heart is knit together in love with God the Father, and his son Jesus Christ.

    Nice thought. I actually read all of Colosians 2 and what I find to be of much comfort is God's holy word. It satisfies my soul like no other and binds you closer to the Lord. There is no greater comfort in life than to have a personal relationship with your Heavenly Father!
