And the Lord added to the church

The Lord has beeen winning several victories in our church. I do not have time to go into detail of how it happened, but last Sunday two ladies came down the isle when the Pastor gave the invitation. The Pastor asked one of our ladies to take the two Philippina women to his office where they prayed and asked the Lord for salvation.

Two Sundays ago, two young juniors (brothers) in two different Sunday School classes trusted on the Lord for salvation.

Yesterday, when the Pastor gave the invitation two other ladies (mother and daughter) walked down the isle, and I had the privilege (the Pastor asked me) to take them to his office where they both prayed with me and trusted the Lord for their salvation. Mother and daughter are of the same family (Lebanese) as the sons mentioned above.

P.S. I just want to add that this family came to our church through a single tract which the mother's sister-in-law had received from our church over four years ago. She had kept the tract which gave fruit about five years later.

At the same time as I was praying with these women, a Sunday school teacher was praying with a French girl in one of the classes. She too trusted on the Lord for savlation.

Yesterday, eight new people joined our church membership. The Lord is so good to us. The church of God is marching on to victory.

Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

    We are in the Church of God through salvation. Any other membership is worthless.

    May be I should have clarified that all those who joined membership are, for the most part, recent converts and/or saved people.

    My pastor does not, for all he knows, accept the membership of anyone who is not saved.

    let me add to your joy. In three weeks the Lord has given 3 souls. One beggar, one cherry-seller, and a young man who works with my dad who prayed with me yesterday after the evening service and asked for eternal life on his knees.

    hm....was that a hint? The thing about tracts in bold face? Ha ha....so subtle. Just Kidding. I am just joking.
    All jokes aside, that is awesome! I am so happy.....can you imagine legions of angels rejoicing over these two new souls? We will be with them soon! (I hope it is really really really soon....maybe even before finals! (just joking again))

    These kinds of testimonies really bring glory to God. They make him so real, and are a very big encouragement to believers everywhere, to keep praying, and passing out tracts and witnessing for the Lord.

    "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days." (Ecc. 11:1)
