1611 King James Bible picture

I read somewhere

"hammer away you hostile hands;

your hammers break, God's anvil stands"

And the burden of the Lord shall yee mention no more: for euery mans word shall be his burden: for yee haue peruerted the words of the liuing God, of the Lord of hostes our God.

Jeremiah 23:36

here's what I say, if they understood this verse when they decided to mess with the King James Bible, then they are guilty, and if not, then what business had they correcting the King James Bible?

    Amen. Many have forgotten that the Word of God is Jesus himself.

    If God revealed the Bible in 1611, that's where it should be left. It is for God's Holy Spirit to reveal and explain.

    It seems to me very few people understand the depth of the meaning and the seriousness of God's Revelation 22:19 "If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

    v. 20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

    It is so important to stand by the KJV when so many are embracing new translations.

    A man from the Bible Society wrote to the Times newspaper the other day, complaining that whenever that secular paper quotes the Bible, it uses the KJV. He wanted the Times to quote the NIV or soem other translation.

    How tragic that a Bible Society should be telling a secular newspaper to stop using the KJV.

    Every Blessing in Christ

    Unbelievable.

    I made the mistake in the past of assuming that everyone in a Bible Society or a Christian bookstore was saved, but alas.
